How to add the custom dashboard from classic view to the custom view

There is a dashboard I have created in the classic view. Now I need to create/move the same dashboard from classic view to the workspace view, how can I do that, could you please share the steps ?

What version are you on? As of the Washington version the migration center can help you migrate a dashboard to Platform Analytics. And once it is a PAE dashboard, you can add it to be visible from a workspace, by adding that workspace to the dashboard.

how do I add the workspace to the PAE dashboard ?

Open it from PAE and click the 'information' icon on the top right (next to the refresh button). It opens the details, including the 'dashboard visibility' field, where you can add the dashboard you want it to be visible from.
Do know that this does not make it the landing page of that workspace. If you want your dashboard to be the landing page, you need to recreate it as such.
