Your question is about the full Application Developer Career Journey learning path, not the ServiceNow Administration Fundamentals/CSA or the CAD course, correct?

As you go through the Associate level of the Career Journey path, completing the ServiceNow Administration Fundamentals/CSA course is one of the requirements. Once you pay for and complete that course, you'll get the exam voucher to sit the CSA exam.

But just be aware that completing the App Developer Career Journey and attaining the CSA or CAD certifications are different things.
