Hi everyone,

As a tech company based in Shanghai, China, we would like to use ServiceNow, but since there is no official support in the mainland, we are stuck in this decision. Does anyone have any experience or suggestions on this?

Thanks a lot,

Onur

Hi Eddy, thanks for the detailed answer. I am a bit concerned about the SaaS model's response time in China mainland since we have some firewall issues in here. The customers in mainland China uses the on-prem model or SaaS model in general?

Hello @onuryavuz ,

  1. Using ServiceNow will require some basic training. Basically, ServiceNow is intuitive, so there won't be a steep learning curve.

  2. Development on ServiceNow, on the other hand, requires a deeper understanding of ServiceNow and coding skills. However, as a low-code platform, it's relatively easy to do coding in ServiceNow. The longer you work on ServiceNow, the more experience you gain, and things will become easier and easier.

  3. As long as you become a partner of ServiceNow, you will be able to submit support tickets to the ServiceNow support team. My company has just become a partner of ServiceNow. We received two instances from ServiceNow, and we can use the partner portal to manage our instances and search for more ServiceNow technical documents and business documents.

My company is based in China and provides IT consulting services, including ServiceNow. I'm glad to see more and more Chinese companies starting to use ServiceNow. It's really good news for my company.
