Need some help/idea for copying of assignment group field to new field "created by group"

Hi

 we have a req where new field "created by group" field should copy the value from "Assignment group"

Here there are 2 cases

1. if we are creating case from Record producer it should be " assignment group = created by group"

so what process can be done for this is this, we need to go to every Record producer and change the script in record producer or a business rule?

2.if the case is created from manual/agent workspace , and if the user /subject person is part of one specific group then the "created by group" should copy that specific group name

so what process can be done to this, please suggest

I understand you want to implement it. What I want to know is, for what purpose? What value do you want to achieve by implementing it? I think I can make suggestions if I understand the objective and what your implementation is a means to achieve.

For example, I believe No. 1 can be achieved with a Business Rule. However, if you want to know whether the initially assigned group was able to resolve it, in other words, the first contact resolution rate, then this is counted out-of-the-box, so there is no need to customize it.

what's the business requirement to have same info in other custom field?

why not just use the OOTB field?
