Start zoom call button on HR Agent workspace

Hello Community,
We have installed the Collaboration Services and the required plugins for Zoom call functionality. The setup and connections are working well for the Incident, Problem, and Change Request tables in both Platform View and Service Operations Workspace (SOW). Now, we’re looking to implement the same functionality for the HR side. On the Platform View for HR tables, Zoom call integration works as expected.

However, when accessing the HR Agent Workspace, the Zoom call option does not appear the way it does in SOW Workspace. We would like to replicate the same Zoom call functionality from SOW Workspace into the HR Agent Workspace. Please find attached a screenshot of SOW workspace.

Could anyone guide us on how to achieve this or point us to any documentation or best practices for enabling Collaboration Services in HR Agent Workspace?

Hello @saideepkada,

To enable a "Start Zoom Call" button on the HR Agent Workspace in ServiceNow, you'll need to configure the workspace to display the appropriate Zoom integration.  This involves setting up the Zoom integration and then configuring the HR Agent Workspace view to include the "Start Zoom Call" functionality.

Please refer to the below steps:
  1. 1. Install and Configure Zoom Integration:
Ensure you have the Zoom integration installed and configured correctly within your ServiceNow instance. This usually involves setting up the Zoom account and providing the necessary API credentials.

  2. 2. Configure HR Agent Workspace View:
    • Navigate to the HR Agent Workspace settings or the UI Builder where you can customize the view.

    • Locate the section where you can add or modify UI actions or components.

    • Add or modify a UI action that will trigger a Zoom call.

    • This UI action might use the glide_user_client_script API to start the Zoom meeting.

  3. 3. Test and Validate:
After making the changes, test the "Start Zoom Call" button to ensure it works as expected.

If it is helpful, please hit the thumbs button and accept the correct solution by refer to this solution; it will be helpful to them.

    Thanks & Regards,
    Abbas Shaik
