We're introducing a new experience for all doc site users! We have added a few new functionalities that will help you stay up to date with content that is interesting and relevant to you, while making it easier than ever to find what you're looking for.
Personalize search results according to the versions and products you use
If you've visited our product documentation site recently, you may have noticed this message pop up on your screen:
By using the sign-in feature, you will be able to personalize your search preferences and prioritize your search results for the versions and products that are important to you.
Under the Search Preferences tab, select your version and product bundle preferences.
After you perform a search, the search results page will show you results prioritizing the versions and products chosen. You can also turn off this feature by toggling off your ‘personalize search’ at any time.
Subscribe to topic pages
You can also now subscribe to topic pages of your interest. By subscribing to topic pages, you will automatically receive notifications when your topics get updated. To subscribe a topic page, click the new Subscribe button on the top right corner of any topic page. You can also download any specific topic or collection of topics as a PDF by clicking the more (…) button.
You will receive an email notification when the topics on your list get updated.
Manage and access all your subscriptions from the Subscriptions tab under the new My Profile view. If you have logged into other ServiceNow sites, we’ve added your information in the new My Profile view:
New "Search Tips" helps you search better
Finally, we added search tips below the main search bar with suggestions on ways to create better search results.
