Scripting isn't for everyone and with ServiceNow that is OK. ServiceNow contains numerous ways to customize without using a script. Here are a few examples:
- Personalize a list
- Add new form fields
- Design a workflow
- Add a theme to an instance
- Create custom tables
- Customize a choice list
A specific area of the product where you can do a lot of powerful customizing without scripting is the service catalog. Using different methods try:
- Enabling two-step checkout so users can review before ordering
- Controlling how catalog items are displayed
- Adding sub-categories
- Designing the homepage (see example below)
