We are excited to announce some new changes on how you can earn points on the Community. Bonus points are now awarded based on the forum and topic level of the user who rates you. You can also earn point accelerators based on various challenges. Finally, we have added additional forum and topic levels to the Community.
Accrue points to go up in Level:
As your points accumulate and surpass thresholds, you will go up in level. Community levels showcase your ServiceNow expertise. You can view your levels on your Now Community Profile
The three types of levels on Now Community include: Overall Community, Forums, and Topics. For more info on points needed to grow in level, see our level chart below:
Forum/Topic Expert Point Bonuses:
When Subject Matter Experts (those high up in Forum and/or Topic levels) mark other people's answers as Helpful or Correct, more points are granted. Similarly, you will earn extra points when Forum and Topic experts mark your content as Helpful or Correct.
To make it easier to find valuable content the helpful count is now driven based on your forum level. If the member marking your content as helpful is a forum level zero the helpful count will increase by one. If the forum member who marks your content as helpful is a forum level one the helpful count will increase by 2 and so on.

Participate in these various bonus challenges and watch your points accelerate. Meeting any of the requirements below will help you make your way to the top of the leaderboard!
Quick Responder:
Earn 20 bonus points if you respond to a Question within 4 hours of the time it was posted and have your answer marked as Correct.
Earn 10 bonus points if you respond to a Question between 4-12 hours of the time it was posted and have your answer marked as Correct.
No Question Left Behind:
Get rewarded additional points for responding to posts more than 24-72hrs.
Your response gets marked correct +40 points
Correct Answer Rally
Daily:
If you provide Correct Answers for 2 or more questions posted in a day, you will receive 30 bonus points.
If you provide Correct Answers for 5 or more questions posted in a day, you will receive 60 bonus points.
Monthly:
If you provide Correct Answers for 5 or more questions posted in a month, you will receive 30 bonus points.
If you provide Correct Answers for 10 or more questions posted in a month, you will receive 60 bonus points.
You Got Views:
For every 1,000 views of your blog, article, or video posts, you will receive 60 bonus points.
