The Now Platform's Service Catalog allows you to automate key workflows so that your customers can self-serve. ServiceNow also has a service catalog that makes it easy for our customers to submit requests and work more efficiently.
Now Support (HI) offers a range of catalog items for you to shop, from instance management to general user access. We've automated several common requests that don't require a support agent and made them available 24/7 - so you can move at your own pace.
Note: Based on your role, you will see different shopping options in the catalog on Now Support.
Overview of the Now Support Service Catalog
When you access the Service Catalog, you can shop for key tasks and activities to perform on your instance. Simply make your choice, and our automated workflow will take care of the rest. Use the Now Support Service Catalog to request certain plugins, rename your instance, perform a zBoot, and more.
What's new in the Now Support Service Catalog
To better meet your needs, I recently added or enhanced several catalogs. These blog posts describe the catalogs, their use cases, and their benefits:
- Database Footprint
- Rename your Instance
- List of Available Backups of an Instance
- Requesting an Instance Restore
- Retire an Instance
I’ll be adding new catalogs regularly, so that you have more control over your instance(s) and user(s).
