ACLs on referenced records are only evaluated against the specific displayed derived fields when in ...KB0529493When you add a Reference to a table and add derived (dot-walked) fields from the referenced record to List view on the original table, the ACLs on the referenced table do not have access to the full referenced record. Instead, they have access to only those specifically derived fields.
