What is Meeting Recordings?

A HOME FOR ALL YOUR MEETING RECORDINGS IN ONE PLACE | SHARE AND ACCESS RECORDINGS

Meeting Recordings provides a single central location to employees to access all their meeting recordings. Through this product the host can share meeting recordings with all invitees, or as an attendee, you can request access to listen to recordings from other hosts. All this can be done from one central location. YOU are in the driving seat. You don’t have to be inundated with all meeting recordings from other hosts, you only choose what you want to listen to.

Where can I find it?

Meeting Recordings is now available on Now Mobile and your Employee Portal.

Background:

today, each attendee of a meeting has to rely on the host of the meeting to share the meeting recordings with everyone. It creates additional bottleneck and time to distribute the recordings. Now, through this feature, all attendees will be able to access recordings in one place, and with a single tap request access to listen to the meetings. If it is a meeting that was hosted by the employees, they will be able to simply select and listen to meeting recordings.

On the host side, they no longer need to remember to forward the recordings to everyone on the team. The invitees have information on which meetings were recorded and they can request access to view the recordings

Never search for your meetings ever again: You never have to look for your recordings in your email box, or login to a separate app to find the meetings

Never wait: You no longer have to wait for the host to share the recordings.

Never miss: You no longer feel left out if you missed a meeting. If it was recorded it is available in your app automatically. You just use a single tap/click to request access

Hi All,
We are trying to Integrate ServiceNow with Zoom. So that meetings can be recorded and can be shown in ServiceNow.
For this we have followed steps given in below URLs:-
https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/sandiego-application-development/page/administer/integrationhub-s... https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/sandiego-application-development/page/administer/integrationhub-s...

  1. But when we are trying to add webhook for ServiceNow we are getting error -URL validation failed.

We are getting event notification end point URL validation error we have used as per document .

How can we resolve this webhook related error so that we can get notifications in ServiceNow.

What actions do we need to perform so that Meeting recordings will be available in servicenow

Hello Nikita,

The links you posted are generic integration between ServiceNow and Zoom spoke. My response here would be with regard to the Meeting Recordings scoped application available in the InnovationLab.

When you install the application, apart from other configuration files, a Scripted Rest API "Zoom Recording Webhook" and a system property "sn_meeting_recordi.zoom_verification_token" would be installed.

When configuring the Webhook in Zoom Marketplace, ensure to configure the endpoint as per the Scripted Rest API. It would be something like "https://<instance>.service-now.com/api/snc/v1/zoom_recording/recordings_completed".

For the token, use the token that you have configured in the property "sn_meeting_recordi.zoom_verification_token".

Also, for the Webhook event subscription, you also want to ensure that at least the event type "Recordings > All recordings have completed" is added.

Thank you.
