Hi @sanket mohite,
For end users and general 'Admin', simply type 'Servers' into the Navigation menu, and navigate down to the 'All' option under the 'Servers' header to view the Server records.
From here you can easily see a listing of Servers including the 'Class'.
If you're only wanting to update 1 or 2 records for example, depending on what's been implemented or updated on your instance, you can update the class from the List view and simply double-click on the class value in the class column.
If you want to update more than just a few records, how many are we talking? Can you filter via this list view and update the class via this view or do you want to do it programmatically?
The above instruction should set you off in the right direction

Hi @sanket mohite,
Can you advise how many server records you need to update?
Using one record as an example, you can view the history for that record to see the previous class value was set.
You can then update accordingly if it's simply a case of updating it to what it was previously set or if you know what value you want it to be set to.
To view the history, open the server record you know that has been incorrectly updated, go to the top/header of the record, right-click and select 'History > List'.
You should then be able to see when

Hi Sanket,
I believe updating the server class isn't the best solution. Instead, run a quick discovery scan for those servers. If the scan succeeds, Discovery will automatically reclassify the servers based on the operating system(windows, linux, Unix, ESX and others) . If it fails, check for any discovery scan errors or issues and resolve them. If you still prefer to reclassify without using the Discovery option, check the operating system and write a script to bulk update the servers accordingly. Please mark this solution as helpful or accept it if it has resolved your issue.
Thank you,
Selva
