We have seen the wrong ESX Server mapped to the Windows Server.
Kindly let us know . How this Virtualized by works . How it run and mapped in cmdb_rel_ci table.
On the below the Child is getting mapped with Parent one. It is suppose to be vgos1816.localnet should get in the child.
Parent | Type | Child | Comments |
wepappprod1 | Virtualized by::Virtualizes | vgos865.localnet | wrongly mapped |
wepappprod1 | Virtualized by::Virtualizes | vgos1816.localnet | this should be mapped |
How to make it mapped correct one now?

You do realize that things can be motioned from one host to another, right? Do you have the vCenter Event collector enabled?

Hello @emir, I am facing similar issue. When a VM is Vmotioned, it is not reflecting the new location as the ESX is not getting updated to the new one. Will configuring the vCenter Event Collector help in resolving this issue?
Also, do we need to configure this for all the Vcenters available under "cmdb_ci_vcenter" table? and does it requires multiple mid servers or same mid server can be used if the connectivity is getting established between the mid and vcenter?

Thanks @emir for the response. Can we use same mid server for multiple Vcenters while configuring?

Can you ? Yes.
Should you? Probably not. It really depends on your mid usage and vCenter payloads. Only you would know this.
