Is it possible to have the Reference field open in a new window (or new tab) when it’s clicked

When we click on the reference filed on any form i could see there will be one new window open in smaller size.
Is there any possibility to open it in new bigger window.
Is any possibility customize the window size.

By default, that reference preview opens in a small popup and there is no out of the box setting to change its size.

If you need a bigger view, the better option is to open the full record instead of using the preview popup, like clicking the reference link or open record icon.

Changing the popup size is not supported via configuration.

ServiceNow doesn’t offer a built-in setting to directly resize these popup windows, mainly because different implementations have different requirements.

Hi

You cannot re-size the pop up window but I can suggest you to maybe press ctrl and open which opens a new tab (basically left click and open in new tab)
