Hi Everyone,

I’m looking for a complete, real-world, step-by-step guide for setting up AWS Discovery in ServiceNow from start to finish.

I’m especially looking for guidance on the following:

AWS prerequisites (IAM roles, permissions, Cloud Account setup)
Creating the AWS Cloud Account in ServiceNow
Setting up the MID Server on an AWS EC2 instance
When and how to configure a proxy server for the MID Server
MID Server validation and capabilities
Creating and configuring Discovery Schedules
Running Discovery and monitoring its progress
Verifying discovered CIs in the CMDB and troubleshooting common issues

When Service Mapping should be implemented
Step-by-step Service Mapping configuration after Discovery
