Slight confusion with switch ports and router interfaces

FriendlyDude

Hi All,

I'm a bit confused with the naming here. I have my IP Switches here in the dependency views and just checking some things, but I'm seeing router interfaces instead of switchports. Is this just a naming convention or is there something wrong with our configuration?

Routers assigns the addresses and the switch is the traffic system to those addresses.

A router needs to use a switch.

If you believe relationship mapping is not reflecting your network configuration, check below knowledge article
