Hey,
I am just trying to understand how is the change_type_task derived from a service. I looked in sys properties to see if the word service would be in any of the fields. It is not. Is this common knowledge that the change_task_type is a service in the change task related list?

Hi Satir,
The sys properties distinction is a configuration rather than a service.
You can have further read.
Thanks,

Thank you. I figured it out. They changed it from task type to service. So when you got the change form it shows you the system property and enter that into the change properties for copying objects.
I think what you are doing is helpful, when you add the how you get your answer this will be most effective. They've added about 4 or 5 more tasks. I may need help soon.

2. Add the following field to be copied when a change task is copied from the originating change:
- Service
Use business_service

Hi MGZ9,
It took me quite a while to find this article. I guess they've updated it with each version or so. Thank you for the updated solution.

If you go to the Change Task table [Tables / Change Task] and look for the "Service" column, you find the Column name is "business_service".

Obvious question from a student: Why hasn't a ticket been opened to correct this error? I'm working in the lab right now and multiple issues have been found with the simulator. So glad this corrected answer is here, but why hasn't it been fixed....for years???? Thansk Bill and MGZ9!!!!!
