Strategic Alignment - Project scope is aligned with your corporate strategy to drive business value.   In order to achieve this there must be a clear vision between all project stakeholders.


Risk Management - Project risk is effectively managed through regular project status reporting and development demonstrations with project stakeholders.

 

Resource Management — The following key components of resource management are imperative for a successful implementation: stakeholder engagement, defined roles and responsibilities, and professional discipline.


Performance Management — Project performance is managed by defining measurable success criteria, frequently reviewing past performance and development, and focus on continuous improvement.


Value Delivery - ServiceNow strives to deliver business value early and often to our customers in the implementation lifecycle.   Our implementation methodology is designed to accelerate time to value and increase user adoption.

OPTIMIZED PROCESS

ServiceNow has developed a comprehensive implementation methodology based upon ServiceNow best practices and 1000's of successful implementations. Called "StartNow", the methodology leverages agile scrum, an iterative approach to implement in a modular fashion, and focuses on delivering value early and often.   All project related information including the project plan is stored in the PPM application of the customer instance to provide a single system of record and maximum project transparency.

INFORMED PEOPLE

Effective communication with key project stakeholders, both ServiceNow and customer is a key component to overall project transparency and ultimate success.   On a regular basis the ServiceNow Engagement Manager will conduct the following meetings with key project stakeholders: project status meetings, sprint planning meetings, and sprint review & demonstration meetings.
