How you should prepare for the CIS ITSM exam. Tips and Resources.

Being a Trainer, students ask me how they can prepare for their CIS ITSM exam. Here are my tips, that conceptually apply also to other topics:

1. work through all of the labs from both trainings ITSM Fundamentals and ITSM Implementation
2. read the eBook again, including the slide notes
3. Discuss questions and lessons learned in a group
4. Each person in the group could prepare one process or subtopic and present it to the others and lead a discussion

Als Trainer werde ich öfters gefragt, wie man sich auf eine (CIS) Prüfung vorbereiten sollte. Hier meine Empfehlung für die Vorbereitung zur ITSM Certified Implementation Specialist Prüfung - die verschiedenen Komponenten existieren aber fast alle auch für andere Themen (CSM, HR...).

1. Erneutes Bearbeiten aller Übungen aus den Kursen ITSM Fundamentals und ITSM Implementation mit dem Fokus auf das Verstehen der Zusammenhänge (ca. 3 Tage)
2. Die eBooks erneut durcharbeiten, inclusive Anmerkungen
3. Diskussion von Fragen und Gelerntem in einer Gruppe
4. In der Gruppe könnt Ihr verschiedene Teilthemen oder Prozesse unter Euch aufteilen: jeder bereitet ein Thema auf und präsentiert es.

a) Ganz unten findet ihr den „Simulator“ – das sind Aufgaben, die auf einer Instanz, welche bereitgestellt wird, implementiert werden müssen. Die Implementierung wird dann automatisiert evaluiert.

Hi, 

Could you please let me know as part of prerequisites to get certified CIS -ITSM there were mandatory courses/live class  like 1) Servicenow Platform implementation  2) ITSM  fundamentals 3) ITSM implementation so all these courses cost around 1200 USD each so please let me know how to gain vouch   without attending these mandatory courses as its out of my budget.
