What is this utility and how does it help?
This utility helps to create change requests using a template just like a standard one but follows the workflow built on normal change. This will help create a change request with child tasks and are available as links on the normal change category.
How to use this once installed?
Navigate to the templates table (sys_template) and create a new template on the change request table. As soon as the template is saved, a new link will be added to the normal change category. You can add multiple tasks underneath the parent change request template using the following fields - link element, next related child template, next related template (used for change tasks).

What all components does it use?
The components involved in this utility are -
1. Templates - Template table to store the normal change fields
2. Workspace record types selector - created a new selector to show 'Normal templated change' as an option
3. Intercepter update for the native UI
4. Business rule - Create/update RP for CHG template, this is to create/update a record producer from the template
5. Category - Normal template changes
6. Record Producers - To create links from the change request template to be available on the normal change category
Any customizations to the platform?
No, there is no customization to the platform (based on my understanding of the platform). All the components are built from scratch.

Note: This might have issues when you have enabled the change models feature, personally haven't checked yet.
