Over the past family and store releases, we've introduced multiple enhancements for Digital Portfolio Management to help our customers get a holistic view of their services and applications and achieve exceptional outcomes from the workspace.

Guided Enterprise Portfolio Creation 

Create and edit enterprise portfolios within Digital Portfolio Management workspace

  • Expedite enterprise portfolio set-up by leveraging a guided builder experience to create and edit service, business application and application service portfolios
  • Visualize the hierarchical structure of portfolio while building out the taxonomy nodes
  • Utilize OOTB service portfolio templates or upload existing portfolios to the workspace

Report Performance Metrics via Email

Schedule email reports

  • Portfolio managers can now proactively inform other stakeholders about key performance indicator of any portfolio solution type by triggering emails reports
  • DPM Admins are able to enable and manage the email functionality using simplified system properties available in DPM Admin Center

Troubleshoot Tab in Admin Center
  • Simplified user experience for admins to recalculate availability metrics for service offerings for any given date range by accessing Troubleshoot tab on DPM Admin Center

  • Ability to filter out retired services/non-operational services on DPM homepage

  • Unified Map combines the capabilities of Dependency Views and of Service Mapping, into a single map experience
  • Visualize how CIs are connected to each other, which is useful to assess impact of changes and incidents
  • Assess current status of solutions, identify gaps in relationships

KPI Description Tooltips
  • Customers can now view KPI description in the DPM UI as a tool tip. 
  • The description field is auto-populated in by taking into consideration each level of conditions that impact the final calculation – the indicator source, indicator record, and KPI record.
  • DPM Admins can review and edit the description field in KPI records

Process Mining Analysis
  • Solution owners can create Process Mining projects for key performance indicator (KPI) group in Digital Portfolio Management (DPM) to see KPI performance and analyze anomalies
  • On the KPI drill down page, select the Process analysis tab to see the insights and variations for the selected KPI records. By default, the data shown is from the last 30 days
