ACLS in Vancouver - Local or Existing

Hi All - After upgrading to Vancouver, In ACLS I observed there is local and existing. What does local and existing means. Is there any documentation for this.

It looks like, there is a business rule 'Local security attribute delete' which uses it when an ACL is deleted.

It deletes any relevant data in sys_security_attribute when it is set to Existing.
