ai search for knowledge article

in the knowledge article I have define some meta tags but when I am searching the article in portal it is not listing that record. i have defined meta tag as "credit-memo" and when I tried to search it in portal it does not display the record.

can someone help me on this please????

Hope you are doing fine.

There are some solutions which you can use to trouble shoot on why the article is not visible on portal even if the meta tag are specified.

 

Please find some of below approaches which I basically follow:

  1. May be we need to regenerate the text index. In order to regenerate test index, go to system definition --> text index. Open text index of knowledge table and click on related link "Regenerate Text index"
  2. Please double-check the meta tag configuration on the knowledge article to ensure it is defined correctly as "credit-memo" and confirm that the meta tag is added to the appropriate field on the knowledge article form. Please ensure that there are no leading or trailing spaces or any other characters affecting the accuracy of the meta tag value.
  3. Verify the search configuration settings to ensure that meta tag fields are included in search criteria. Navigate to Service Portal --> Service Portal Configuration and locate the search source used in the portal's search functionality. Ensure that the meta tags field is included in the 'Search Fields' configuration for the search source.

thanks for your response, does Ai search uses the meta tags of knowledge articles. in kb article form i always see massage-like, it does not uses the meta tags.
