Alphabets missing in serial number when data is importing from Data source

HI

When asset data is importing from Data source (through attachment excel sheet) to Asset table for the serial number when added the alphabets are missing and only numbers are getting stored.

for example : if the data in Data source the Serial Number is GCMP8Y3 but data stored on the Asset table is 83.
why? but working fine in my PDI.

btw Serial Number on asset table is String type.

while manually creating the record it is fine
and I find no script that is removing the characters.
