Approval condition 'No longer required 'is not triggering in the workflow

I have a requirement where for request item i am creating an approvals using Approval activity and there is a case where if additional details are required i am providing a mailto link in the approval notification where using inbound action i am updating approval state as No longer required and asking submitter for additional information. i have added a condition as NO longer required with condition as activity.result== 'not_required' in workflow as below but seems like workflow is not triggering at that condition.

Hi @Divya,

Approvals can be skipped if they don't have a users/groups to send to. Is your approval scripted or do you have the approvers filled out on the workflow activity.

I have scripted the approvals in activity.

My requirement is to proceed with the approval activity from 'no longer required 'condition transition to event activity to trigger notification followed by catalog task generation in the workflow. the flow is not getting forward at No longer required condition inspite of adding condition. Also i cannot find result for no longer required condition in workflow context.

seems like i am missing something
