Asset import not creating CI

I am importing Assets from an excel into Alm_hardware table.  I have created all the necessary models and model catogeries in the Product models.  It is importing the data fine but It is not creating the related CI for some of the assets.

It is not consistent, in the sense that the same model, for some assets it is creating the CI and for some it is not.  The related Business rules are enabled.

Can any one suggest how to proceed further

I am facing the same error when importing the asset, the CI is not getting created. Has anyone got the solution.

Did you get the solution for this issue. I am facing the same issues. Via excel sheet imported to alm_asset table but CI did not get created. Please let me know of any solution.

We are experiencing a similar issue, the CI however IS getting created but it is not using the CI class that is identified in the model category table.  It is being created as a Configuration Item.

Checking if you have found a solution, I am facing the same issue. The CI gets created when I creating a single test record manually but does not get created while importing the data. If anyone here has found the solution, please Reply.
