Hi All,
We are looking for a way to automatically create a Microsoft Teams group chat whenever a P1 incident is created in ServiceNow.
We explored using the Microsoft Graph Spoke, but it requires multiple permissions that are currently not being approved by the internal Microsoft Teams team. Therefore, we would like to know if there is an alternative approach to achieve this requirement.
We also tried implementing functionality similar to the "Start Microsoft Teams Chat" UI Action. However, this approach first retrieves the user's Teams token, which opens a new browser tab for authentication, and then creates the group chat. From an end-user perspective, having additional tabs open during the creation or updation of a P1 incident does not provide a seamless experience.
Could you please advise if there is any other recommended approach to automatically create a Teams chat for P1 incidents without requiring user interaction or opening additional browser tabs?
Thank you
