Hi Experts,
I’m currently building a community page in ServiceNow, and I’ve encountered an issue I can’t resolve. Here’s the problem:
The approvers for this page are unable to view the actual content, as it appears hidden to them. However, they still have the ability to approve or reject the content. I suspect this behavior might be related to access control lists (ACLs), role-based permissions, or possibly some configuration settings that I might have overlooked.
Here’s a bit more context:
I’ve set up the page with specific content that needs approval.
The approvers are assigned a predefined role specifically for this task.
I’ve reviewed the ACLs for the relevant table/fields, but I’m unsure if all the necessary read permissions are in place for the approvers.
The issue persists despite my attempts to adjust the settings.
Could someone guide me on how to resolve this? Specifically:
What are the best practices for configuring permissions for approvers in such scenarios?
Are there any key configurations I should check to ensure approvers can view the content?
Is there a way to debug or trace permissions to identify why content visibility is restricted?
I’d greatly appreciate any insights or guidance you can provide. Thank you in advance for your help!
