Content Hidden problem while reviewing

Hi Experts,

I’m currently building a community page in ServiceNow, and I’ve encountered an issue I can’t resolve. Here’s the problem:

The approvers for this page are unable to view the actual content, as it appears hidden to them. However, they still have the ability to approve or reject the content. I suspect this behavior might be related to access control lists (ACLs), role-based permissions, or possibly some configuration settings that I might have overlooked.

Here’s a bit more context:

  • I’ve set up the page with specific content that needs approval.

  • The approvers are assigned a predefined role specifically for this task.

  • I’ve reviewed the ACLs for the relevant table/fields, but I’m unsure if all the necessary read permissions are in place for the approvers.

  • The issue persists despite my attempts to adjust the settings.

Could someone guide me on how to resolve this? Specifically:

  1. What are the best practices for configuring permissions for approvers in such scenarios?

  2. Are there any key configurations I should check to ensure approvers can view the content?

  3. Is there a way to debug or trace permissions to identify why content visibility is restricted?

I’d greatly appreciate any insights or guidance you can provide. Thank you in advance for your help!
