Copy Change request number

I want to capture the change number from which the change is copied from using the Copy Change. I tried to do this:

but this captures the first change that is captured to all the ones. Say I do a copy change from A, B will have it as Copied from. If I copy another one from B it has A too but I want to show B. How can I accomplish this? Also this seems to be working for changes going forward is there a way to implement this on existing ones too?

I tried this but the first number is getting copied to all the subsequent copies though.

No there's nothing for this. For something like this you would need to write a fix script for example, to one-time to a update to certain fields or work notes.
