How can I give access to a user to create dashboard.

Hey Folks,

I want to give access to a user for creation of dashboard. These roles can not be given in my instance :

1) Admin

2) PA_admin

apart from those above mentioned roles, is there any way that the particular user can create dashboard.

As posted earlier modify ACL of type create on pa_dashboard table with necessary roles, scripts or conditions that suffices your requirement.

pa_power_user role only work when your instance is integrated with performance analytics. In my case, the instance is not integrated. so can you please help.

Hello Akshay, in Jakarta and later releases you can enable responsive dashboards. This means that dashboards stop becoming a "pa only" feature and become platform feature, similar to homepages. After responsive dashboards are enabled, any user can create them, even if your business hasn't licensed Performance Analytics and cannot use the Performance Analytics roles. Please note that his makes dashboard creation available to ALL users. Here's a video about Responsive Dashboards:

Alternately, remember that all users can create homepages. However, responsive dashboards are much easier to use the Homepages.
