How to create everyday updating report on ServiceNow and add to dashboard

Hello Community,

 

I would very much appreciate it if I can get help to create a report on ServiceNow that has to update everyday and it needs to go into a dashboard.

 

Basically, I have a dashboard created and on that I need to see the daily ticket count.

 

E.g. A bar chart that shows tickets that come everyday and it needs to update everyday.

if you want to how many incident have been created on a day(today) you can follow above

 

if you want to see the incidents created over the time in reports check out trend and time series type report

 

better to go with Performance analytics for the later

you can create a report and add on dashboard.

But remember the report will only refresh and show count when somebody visits the dashboard

Report shows the current snapshot of the table data based on filter conditions etc you apply

Hi @ServiceNowUS ,

 

A basic report in ServiceNow runs/updates every time you open it. So you could create a time series bar chart report which will fulfill your need according to your description.
