Hi folks,
I am new to servicenow and currently I dont have admin or a particular application access in our company instance. So I double checked and confirmed that I dont have update set picker access.
So how do I get to know which update set I have selected or how can I select an update set to capture my development activities. Any leads are appreciated.

Hi Shivam,
Its very simple. Just open the update set which is created by you or your team(which you want to use for your activities) from Local Update sets. Then click the Make This My Current Set Related link. This will make that update set as your current update set.

Hi @David Hunt1 ,
Could you please clarify exactly how the "Make this my current update set" option is not working for you? Just a quick note: in many cases, clicking the related link for "Make this my current update set" may not trigger a page refresh or display a confirmation message indicating that the update set has been marked as the current one. However, the system does actually select the update set as current in the background. Please don't be confused by the lack of a confirmation message or page reload— the update set has been successfully set as current despite the absence of these visual cues.
Regards,
Shubham

Just one question: what are you developing without any kind of admin-access?
If my answer helped you in any way, please then mark it as helpful.

Hi Mark,
I am working on a couple of scoped applications with studio. As I am a new hire I have been provided with very limited accesses.
Thanks.

Tip: look for the 'SN Utils' extension for your browser. Not sure on which version you are working, but on SanDiego the update set picker was removed from the banner. SN Utils puts it back (and as a developer you will have much use of that tool).
