Manage Skills not allowing updates to skills

We are trying to use the Manage IT Skills. When managers go there, they are not able to update skills.

My PDI has users along with a list of skills at the top and options to add or change the skill level.

In our actual instance it only has the groups and the users. Just a simple list, no skills displayed at all.

Most likely your pdi has some demo data loaded. You can go to the application manager and install demo data for the skills management com.snc.skills_management plugin.

You need to have skills that include the IT skill for them to display as columns on the page. And to create new ones from the page you need to create categories and the level types that can be used for the particular skill.

Then you can use the ManageSkillsExtnPtDefault extension point to change how the users are grouped

I have 37 Skills showing under IT.

I think you will need to paste some screenshots, I'm not sure I understand your issue. 

Are you missing the page itself? Is your 'IT' skill sys_id '2eb1c2029f100200a3bc1471367fcfe4'? Are your skills m2ms the correct direction? They should be 'skill Y' contains 'IT' not the other way around.

The parent skill and dept are given as url params hard-coded in the module, check that they match or update the url
