Hi Experts/All,
We will be planning to migrate BMC Remedy and ITSM to Service Now in another few months.
It would be helpful for our team if some one can help us in providing the detail steps / cautions to be taken care for migrating BMC Remedy and ITSM to Service Now.
It would be great, if you can provide any documentation for migrating BMC Remedy and ITSM to Service Now.

OpsHub Integration Manager (OIM) supports the migration of BMC Remedy Requests to ServiceNow Incidents. Along with basic data, OIM can migrate all BMC Remedy Requests along with History, Comments, Attachments, and Relationships.
OIM supports migration without an outage and teams can continue to work in BMC Remedy while the migration is ongoing.

Hi,
1. Create or import user and user groups into servicnow which are available in BMC Remedy.
2. Create excel file of incident, problem, change records from BMC Remedy and validate points like assigned to user should be part of assignment group, otherwise business rules will throw error while data import into servicenow.
3.Create one field on task table which will store opera incident, problem, change ids.
4.Talk to your client and ask them business rules and client scripts which are already implemented in previous project and implement in servicenow if they want to keep.

Hi @Tarasingh26 - thanks for your inputs. The group names have changed in ServiceNow for sure.
I want to migrate only mandatory fields from BMC Helix/ Remedy to ServiceNow.
How can I migrate work notes / attachments from Helix/ Remedy tickets. Do you know?
