Hi,

NQL is used to convert natural language statements into the Query.

You can find more details on below:

https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/tokyo-now-intelligence/page/administer/natural-language-query/con...

https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/tokyo-servicenow-platform/page/product/configuration-management/c...

For example:

Natural Language Query - All Active incidents

Query generated will be 'active=true'

So we can consider as  " automatically select a filter based on keywords".

Yes, but need to follow the guidelines.

Natural Language Query (NLQ) in ServiceNow allows users to filter lists by typing plain language phrases. For example, you can type something like "Show incidents assigned to me", and ServiceNow translates that into the appropriate filter conditions to apply to the list.
While NLQ interprets phrases, it does not "automatically select" filters without user input. NLQ does not support voice input, it's text-based.
