I believe what you mean by self service Dashboard is how you navigate to the dashboards and searched for them through left Nav.
Platform Analytics stands completely out of it, But You can certainly Make a new Module under Self Service that points to Platform Analytics Dashboard Library.
The View You had for Self Service Dashboards is PA and IT is completely different form Platform Analytics so merging them both wont be possible.
