Under request details why form is not editable ?

Hi Team, 

 

Why "RITM form" under Request details are greyed out ( the details which were filled by the end user)

 

I knew we can make them editable, but why ServiceNow made Greyed out by default, Is this a security reason or any other reasons. 

 

This is in backend RIMT record form.

Very simple logic, do you want someone else to make changes in your order once you submitted the order? Answer will be NO. The same concept stay here as well.

Hi, Can you check the request which catalog item helped to create a request? Go to that catalog item and check the Catalog Policies. It's helping to grey out the field in RITM forms.
