Abstract: NTT Communications Corp. helps customers realize the benefits of digital transformation and create smarter societies with ICT. A new addition to our strategy is a ‘zero touch operation’ service powered by ServiceNow IT Operations Management. We pioneered this system for our global cloud computing service, addressing 7,000+ recovery procedures, 500,000 database recodes and work on more than 10 related systems. Running for over 1 year, the zero touch operations system has automated 100,000-plus recovery operations and reduced mean time to recovery (MTTR) to one-tenth of the MTTR recorded using manual systems. The zero touch operation can cut time and cost and enable them to assign engineers to more valuable tasks.
