Abstract: Within the digital transformation at Saab the onboarding process has been identified as an “easy win” where a digitized solution quickly would deliver value to the business. Early on Saab acknowledged that HR and IT need to team up, work side by side and involve other Group Functions to create a good solution and employee experience. Saab HR selected Workday a few years back to support the need for harmonizing HR processes, whilst Saab IT has been on a journey with ServiceNow since 2017. The security requirements at Saab bring additional complexity and challenges in digitalization where the use of platform solutions helps to overcome some of the challenges. Enabling a stepwise and quick value realization thru an agile and phased approach was a key decision and the setup will be presented further during this session.
