Abstract:
In this session, Williams-Sonoma, Inc., discusses their challenge to detect events early on and operate proactively as the monitoring and alerting of business-critical systems were largely managed by individuals. They share their story of overcoming this by using Event Management and Service Mapping to eliminate manual efforts and reduce service downtime. They'll also explore establishing and maintain a healthy CMDB with ServiceNow Discovery, using Event Management to eliminate manual alert monitoring and incident creation, and utilizing Service Mapping to prevent impact to critical parts of the business.
