After 8 years, I Finally Attended ServiceNow Knowledge – Was It Too Late? Did I miss the Boat

Background

Knocking on the door of a decade in the ecosystem, I’ve witnessed the platform grow and evolve. Despite my time in the ServiceNow industry, I had never had the pleasure of attending a ServiceNow Knowledge conference till recently. For one reason or another I was unable to attend whether it be due to scheduling conflicts, financials, or other commitments. That was up until Knowledge 24, although being ecstatic about finally being able to attend I had many questions on my mind. Did I miss the boat? Was it too late for me to attend and gain meaningful insights?

The Experience

As soon as I entered the expo center, I could sense the enthusiasm and energy in the air. I would later come to realize that this enthusiasm and energy was contagious (As returning from the conference I felt my passion for the platform reinvigorated.) The sheer amount of content, sessions, keynotes, and experiences could have filled a whole week and still had plenty of leftovers. Despite considering myself seasoned, I found myself learning a lot from different perspectives, whether from various personas, sectors, or business functions in the ecosystem. Participating in the Hackathon was a fun, thrilling, and humbling experience. I had the chance to network with professionals from different sectors and countries. I gained much inspiration from the journeys/experiences shared with me and from interacting with the folks that had helped me pave the way during my career (Shoutout Robert Fedoruk , Chuck Tomasi , Tim Woodruff Earl Duque , Brad Tilton, and countless others.)

Whether you're new to ServiceNow or a seasoned professional, there's always something new to learn and something for everyone.

TLDR

So, did I miss the boat? Not at all. I simply caught the next one…

@jonsan09, I've been going since K11, and still see it this way! Welcome to the Knowledge community, and see you at the Hackathon next year, hopefully.
