Are there any plans to postpone Knowledge 2020?

Are there any plans to postpone Knowledge 2020 because of the whole coronavirus situation.

Facebook has canceled its F8 conference scheduled for May 5-6 in San Jose. Any news from ServiceNow on this?

I need to get my flights done but I am concerned that this may turn out to be a bigger problem than it is right now.

Thanks Jennifer,

My concern would be that it doesn't necessary matter if there are confirmed cases in Orlando or not.  People come from all over the world to these conferences.  there may be no confirmed cased before the conference, but it only takes 1 person who comes from California or New York or Seattle or South Carolina, and then you have thousands of people infected.

just because there are no confirmed cases, doesn't mean anything.

and to be honest.  you can stress hygiene all you want.  As a guy, i always wash my hands when i go into the bathroom, however, there are TONS of guys who used the bathroom and do not wash their hands when they are done.  I was at knowledge 18 and was disgusted by the amount of guys i saw that did not wash their hands after using the restroom.

@Steven Young You make really great points! My biggest concern is going to K20 healthy, getting infected, coming home and infecting others without knowing. It was a huge eye opener when SXSW announced they were canceling. It is really sad, my team and I look forward to Knowledge every single year.

SXSW is 400,000 people....

Again, everyone, if you want to attend...then do. If not, then don't. I can definitely understand people being weary, I get it, maybe skip this year then?

ServiceNow, the CDC, the State of Florida, etc. can only do but so much.

Same as Disney and all the other major places that are still operating during this time.

Hey Allen,

Thank you for your reply. I think at this point the concern is conference attendance for ServiceNow. Many employees (myself and my team included) are being told to not travel by their organization, to avoid conferences, mass transit, etc. The financial loss for ServiceNow will be quite impactful, planning for 20k attendees and only a handful show up? I can't even imagine.

Again, I agree with you, we are all adults and can make our own informed decisions, I believe everyone is just looking for some guidance on what to do in this situation.

Are you going to waive the $150 cancellation fee? At lot of companies have put restrictions on traveling and attending large gatherings such as conferences. Which means travel and reservations had to be cancelled.

What will the online content contain? I can't imagine paying the full ticket price for an online experience. That won't be near the same value.
