Are there any plans to postpone Knowledge 2020?

Are there any plans to postpone Knowledge 2020 because of the whole coronavirus situation.

Facebook has canceled its F8 conference scheduled for May 5-6 in San Jose. Any news from ServiceNow on this?

I need to get my flights done but I am concerned that this may turn out to be a bigger problem than it is right now.

How will the information about this be disseminated?

We are expanding our online platform and content offering to allow anyone who cannot attend in person to participate remotely. This will augment the amazing in-person experiences we are planning.

Our company usually sends a couple people to knowledge, but all travel (even in the US) is now restricted for us for business meetings/events.  But I would love to be able to see some of the content remotely.

Thanks,
Shannon

It is a good thing ServiceNow is addressing this in their in the Knowledge website.

Another aspect of COVID-19 that should be take into account is restrains from international companies on travel. My company for example has cancelled all non business critical travel moving forward. I am sure we are not the only ones and this could also become a topic for the organisation to take into account. Unfortunately the impact worldwide is significant.

My university has issued the following updated travel guidance, effective for the next 60 days with a review in 30 days. This guidance applies to all upcoming travel, including any that has been previously approved.

  • All university-related international travel is not permitted.
  • All personal international travel is strongly discouraged.
  • All university-related, non-essential, out-of-state domestic travel is not permitted.
  • We strongly urge extreme caution and judgment for your personal domestic mass transit travel. Take into account the possibility of travel delays or the potential need for self-isolation in the future.
  • Deans and Vice Presidents have authority to assess essential travel and address other questions.
