I need to make airline reservations. I'm assuming I should fly in the day before (May 6th). Should I plan to "go home" the day after or does the conference end mid-day or by mid-afternoon on the 9th? Thanks!

Hi Pamela,
I would recommend definitely flying in at least on Monday, even Sunday if you want/need extra time to adjust to the timezone, or get acclimated to everything. I usually arrive on Sunday so that I'm available to work remotely on Monday if needed. You can/should also go to the registration desk on Monday to pickup your badge and chart your course so that you are not delayed by these things getting to the opening keynote Tuesday morning. It's organized chaos Tuesday morning with herds of people grabbing their badges, checking luggage, trying to get breakfast/coffee, and all being shepherded into the keynote. You'll not want to miss the closing event Thursday evening. It usually ends early enough (~9-10) that you could get a late/red-eye flight if you're strapped, but flying out on Friday is best.
