Knowledge 20 Orlando: Hotel and Transportation Options

Hello

I'm trying to figure out Hotel options for Knowledge 20, however, I notice that a good deal of hotels available are pretty far from the Orange County Convention Center.

1) Is there a preferred list of hotels for Knowledge Attendees?  Are these hotels within walking distance of the OCCC?

2) While looking at hotel options, I note that most of them are on the west side of Interstate 4.  OCCC is on the east side of the interstate without anywhere to walk through, so are there shuttle services available that serve OCCC and these hotels?

Hi: 

When you register you will be presented with a number of hotels to choose from. In fact, we have more than 30 offered as we anticipate setting another attendance record this year. Unfortunately when they built the Orange County Convention Center, they only built 3 hotels close by so we are forced to augment our hotel inventory by going west of Interstate 4. We have a great selection of hotels that offer options based upon budget, location, and amenities.  There will be a very robust shuttle schedule running all day on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday so don't worry about being able to get to and from Knowledge. What about Sunday and Monday?

I intend on attending preconference activities as I have always done in previous Knowledge Conferences.  I suppose that I'm on my own on that one.

From the last knowledge, i remember a couple were attached. What are the names?

The shuttle bus service was very good at the last Orlando conference.  I stayed at a Universal property and never had a problem getting a bus.
