Monthly Reports sending out 3 versions of the report.

My team has monthly reports sent out, however we are seeing that the reports are being sent out in 3s. All the same, but the email it is sent by is different. One is our company name @ servicenowservices.com, another is our company test @servicenowservices.com, and the last is our company name dev servicenowservices.com.

Is this something I have to take up with my admin, or is there a setting I need to change when scheduling the report?

P.S. I never know which forum to select, my apologies.

Sounds to me like perhaps the organization inadvertently has the TEST and DEV ServiceNow instances configured to actually send emails out.

My organization clones all sub-prod environments on a regular basis; if yours does also, the suggestion above is perhaps more likely.

I hope this is helpful.

It appears to me it is highly likely that your organization's DEV and TEST instances are configured to send emails FOR REAL.

If your organization is like mine and you clone all sub-prod instances on a regular basis, then those reports would be present and increases the likelihood of what I suggested above.

I hope this helps!

Hi @vcdiaz3 ,

Usually only in production the notifications are enabled to send n receive. In lower environments the property is disabled.

You can crosscheck n confirm with ur admin whether the settings are disabled only also check in prod there is only one schedule for that report.

Thanks,

Danish

Hi @vcdiaz3 ,

You need to take this up with the admins. It seems like that the scheduled report has been clone down to test and development environment. Hence, according to the schedule, the report is send by prod, test and dev with different data, as data is worked upon only in prod.
