Configuring the Search function for certain users

Now we're using the Next UI we have found visibility of searches to be much wider.
Where is the configuration for the Search function (top right hand corner) to lock this down to certain ticket types for certain customers, does anyone know?
So would only want CS cases to be visible to some users with certain roles. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?
