How to configure chat in service operations workspace

After going through the docs, I installed a plugin then after I can see a inbox below the list Icon in service operations workspace but it is only visble to me. Is this have any applicability like lists?

I believe we're actually deprecating that inbox functionality in workspaces in favor of Next Experience Notifications and Sidebar chat so I would look into those.
