Is it possible to open a modal instead of a page by clicking on Side Navigation button?

Hello, everyone!

I tried to add an event on page ready in homepage when there is an optional parameter in url and this option in menu is redirecting to home with this parameter.

It is working fine in the first click but when click again it is not working, looks like cache issue.
Is there a way to solve this?
