Description: Senior ServiceNow System Administrator / Developer should have a fundamental
understanding of IT service management and the ITIL business processes;
experience working closely with SME's, project managers, and process owners to
understand business requirements and translate them into technical
specifications and develop ServiceNow functionality. The candidate will also be
responsible for performing daily administration, issue resolution, and
troubleshooting.
Duties include:
Development of ServiceNow applications, including modification to existing ITSM modules
- Work with process owners to develop and implement workflow
- Perform regular ServiceNow Discovery and CMDB maintenance
- Report Setup / Custom Reporting
- Perform data imports
- Custom Scripting
- 3rd Party software integrations
- Facilitating roll out of new applications and modules
Requirements:
ServiceNow System Administration certification — a plus
- Experience with scripting in ServiceNow preferred
- Experience with ServiceNow Discovery referred
- ITIL v3 Foundations certified
- 3 plus years hands-on experience implementing ServiceNow IT Service Management tools to support ITIL processes
- ServiceNow development and configuration xperience
- 3 plus years of experience using JavaScript, XML, HTML, etc
- Experience integrating with web services (publishing or consuming)
- Strong working knowledge of various ServiceNow components such as Service Desk, Change Management, Asset
Management, Incident Management, CMDB and Discovery, Knowledge Management, Mobility, and Service Request Management - Project management or development lifecycle skills are beneficial
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Good analytical and problem solving skills to resolve technological problems
- Business requirements analysis skills
